Creative Cooking Playground: Reconnect with the Joy of Cooking with Simple, Everyday Practices
For most people, cooking is utilitarian: In other words, more functional than fun. BUT great news: It doesn’t have to be, even if it feels that way now.
If cooking feels like a chore, or you’re stuck in a rut, or don’t have time to really enjoy yourself when you cook any more, it’s easy to go from loving cooking to viewing it as another thing on the to do list.Â
Maybe you’re a bit envious of people who seem to love cooking and who thrive when they’re playing with food: Or maybe you used to feel that way but are just not feeling the spark these days.Â
The difference between a lifelong relationship to cooking that’s fun, and that you look forward to, is less about what you’re cooking and much more about how you feel while you’re doing it.
What if your time spent cooking felt both playful and so deeply luxurious, so relaxed, and so luscious that you couldn’t wait to get into the kitchen and create? Â
In Creative Cooking Playground, you’ll learn simple techniques for reconnecting with the pleasure of cooking so you can find joy in cooking again (or perhaps for the first time).Â
We focus on simple, easy-to-implement skills and practices so you can weave fun and play back into cooking without adding a bunch of extra time or effort: And you’ll leave with everything you need to create a playful, fun cooking practice that fits into your life and schedule.Â
This self-study class is divided into two sections:
Building a container for creative cooking: learn to weave pleasure and fun around and throughout your time in the kitchen
Playful cooking: learn how to build in playful improvisation into your cooking itself, so that each dish has a sense of adventure and excitement.
